Shred-It Day Event: May 14, 2011 - Connex North Haven Branch
We recently held a Shred-It Day Event at our North Haven branch. Both members and non-members in the community brought boxes and bags of sensitive documents including bills, tax forms, financial statements and paystubs to shred for free. We also shared valuable information with them about proper disposal of sensitive documents and avoiding identity theft. Attendees also entered a raffle drawing to win a free year of Identity Theft Resolution and Credit Monitoring Service, a $75 valued service. One lucky winner was selected and received this free subscription.
