This year’s meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 28, 2017 at the Best Western Plus, 201 Washington Avenue, North Haven, Connecticut.
 

Credit Union Officials are elected annually at the Annual Meeting.
 

The Board of Directors are elected by and from the general membership of the Credit Union. Bylaws require that candidates for Director positions be nominated by committee or petition.
 

The Nominating Committee has proposed the following slate of candidates for 2017.  For three-year terms:  Kim Andrews, Janice Bryden and Lisa Fitzgerald. Nominated to fill the remaining two-year term following a Director resignation is Monica Gill, PhD.
 

If you wish to also be considered as a candidate for office, you may run by petition.  You must be a member of Connex Credit Union as of December 31, 2016.


a)    You must use official petition forms, available by emailing connex_marketing@connexcu.org.
b)    304 member signatures are required for each petition candidate.
c)    Signers must be at least 18 years of age.
d)    One petition is required for each candidate.
e)    The petition must be returned to the Secretary of the Credit Union by 5:00 p.m. on February 6, 2017.  The Secretary is Janet Hand and she is located in the Credit Union Office at 412 Washington Avenue, North Haven, Connecticut 06473.
f)    The petition must be accompanied by the certification of the nominee that he or she is agreeable to running.

 

The biographical information is limited to 100 words, subject to review and approval of the Nominating Committee, and will accompany ballots, which will be mailed or emailed to all members eligible to vote on or before March 29, 2017.  Ballots must be completed and received in the Supervisory Committee post office box by 5:00 p.m. on April 24, 2017 to be valid. In accordance with our Bylaws, there will be no nominations accepted from the floor at the Annual Meeting.  Results of the ballots will be announced at the Annual Meeting.
