Connex Credit Union has a long history of supporting the communities we serve through in-kind donations, fundraisers, volunteerism, scholarships and financial knowledge seminars. To better serve our members and the community, we are pleased to introduce ConnexCares, our credit union’s charitable and philanthropic program. Our mission through ConnexCares is to promote financial literacy, well-being, and understanding to our members and the greater communities we serve.

In March 2017, Connex sponsored the WPLR ShamRock & Roll 5k Road Race. Connex employees donated over 45,000 diapers that benefited the Diaper Bank!

As part of our Coins-for-Change donation program, Connex donated to Wags 4 Hope, Operation Fuel, FISH of Greater New Haven, and Food Rescue US.
Adopt-A-Family Holiday Drive 2016
For its annual holiday drive, Connex adopted a family in need from the New Reach organization. Through the generous contributions of our members and staff, we were able to collect over 180 winter clothing, bedding, toy and household items in addition to gift cards to a family of six. We also donated over $1,000 to the New Reach organization. Thank you to all who helped make this holiday season a litttle merrier for a local family!
Coins-for-Change Quarter Three Donations 2016
As part of our Coins-for-Change donation program, Connex donated to Save the Shack, Wallingford Community Day Care Center, Fair Haven Community Health Center, and the Melissa Jones PTO Playground Revitalization Project.
Miracle Jeans Day 2016
Connex staff members participated in national Miracle Jeans Day to raise funds for our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital: Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford.
