Enhanced Multifactor Authentication

Multifactor Authentication protects against online fraud by providing an additional end user authentication ‘factor’ beyond the username and password used today. The solution is designed to preserve the convenience and usability of your Online Banking session while providing peace of mind.

Enhanced MFA offers new security features in order to verify you, and your identity, to ensure that you are the one accessing your account. The enhanced one-time passcode (OTP) technology will allow you to be able to choose the method to receive the OTP: text message, voice call or email.  Once you are enrolled and your computer is enrolled, there is no change from today's login experience. You will either access your accounts from a “known” (enrolled) computer, or you will enter a passcode that is generated at login , instead of answering security questions.

  • Text Message (SMS): The member receives a short message (SMS) with a one-time access code on one of the mobile phone numbers they set up.
  • Automated Phone Call: The member receives a phone call at one of the numbers that was set up with a recorded message stating the one-time passcode.
  • Email: The member receives an email with a one-time passcode at an email address that was previously set up.

To set-up your account to use One-Time Passcodes, you will log into Online Banking using your current username/member number and password.

  •  If your computer is currently enrolled in MFA you will be prompted to choose an access method. WE recommend that you choose to set-up more than one access method. This will provide you, our members, the flexibility to access your account at home, at work or on the go!

  •  If your computer is not enrolled in MFA or this is a new computer you will need to click on the Having Trouble link, which will allow you to enter your security question / answers and then bring up the set-up shown above.
