ConnexCares Scholarship Program
Connex is excited to offer fifteen $2,000 scholarships. These scholarships are for students pursuing two-year, four-year, vocational, or trade school education. Our commitment to inclusivity aims to support and reward students across diverse fields, making higher education more accessible and fulfilling.

The deadline to apply is March 31, 2026
Scholarship Criteria
- Membership requirement: Either the student or a direct family member (parent, grandparent, sibling, aunt, or uncle) must be a Connex member in good standing as of December 31, 2025
- GPA requirement: 3.0 or higher
- Eligible applicants: High school seniors planning to attend college or trade school, as well as students already enrolled full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year undergraduate program or vocational/trade school for the Fall 2026 semester
- Limit: Applicants may apply to only one scholarship. Submitting multiple applications will result in disqualification
- Parents may not apply on behalf of students
ConnexCares Scholarships
John R. Edwards Community Involvement Scholarship
Applicants must show a strong commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion while driving positive change in their communities. The scholarship recognizes leaders passionate about collaboration and societal betterment.
Arthur B. Haesche Business Scholarship
Applicants must pursue a degree or career in business, finance, trade, or related fields, demonstrating strong academics, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication. This scholarship supports individuals excelling in business, innovation, or skilled trades.
Nicolas G. Hackett Memorial Academic Scholarship
Applicants must demonstrate an outstanding academic record as well as a commitment to the pursuit of intellectual growth, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine passion for learning.
Dave F. Clark Arts & Music Scholarship
Applicants must present a strong portfolio or evidence of artistic achievements in visual arts, performing arts, or music, highlighting their passion and talent. This scholarship honors outstanding artistic potential.
5 Merit Scholarships - Towns of New Haven, West Haven, Hamden
This ConnexCares Merit Scholarship is open to students from the towns of New Haven, West Haven, and Hamden with exceptional academic achievement and dedication to their studies. This scholarship recognizes well-rounded individuals with strong potential and a commitment to personal and academic growth.
6 Merit Scholarships - Towns in Hartford, Middlesex, New Haven, and Fairfield County
This ConnexCares Merit Scholarship is open to students from New Haven, Fairfield, Middlesex, and Hartford Counties (excluding the towns of New Haven, West Haven, and Hamden). Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence, dedication to their studies, and a commitment to personal and academic growth.
