March 19, 2020 Update

As you know, the State of Connecticut has mandated the closing of many schools and businesses due to COVID-19 (coronavirus). We continue to monitor the guidelines provided by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and the State of Connecticut. As always, the health and safety of our members, staff, and community are our highest priority.

Connex Credit Union is taking proactive steps to ensure you have the financial services you need, while adhering to safe and sound health practices for members and staff. Therefore, beginning Friday, March 20, the following changes will take effect:

ALL BRANCH LOBBIES WILL BE CLOSED. Please conduct your financial transactions using one of the following means:

The following services are offered in a limited capacity:

  • Official checks, and credit/debit loan payments can only be accepted at Drive-Up Window locations (Guilford, Orange, North Haven)
  • Coin Deposits may be made in North Haven and Guilford
  • Debit Cards, Notary, and Loan Closings are by appointment. Please call 203-603-5700 to schedule.
  • Utilize our Chat feature on our website to chat with a member service rep.
  • For all other transactions such as account opening, loan applications or other questions, please contact us at 800-CR-UNION or 203-603-5700.

Member-Only Emergency Relief Resources

  • Skip-a-Pay

We are offering you the ability to skip up to two payments on your auto and personal loans and we will waive the fee. Please download the Skip-a-Payment document, complete the form and sign. To submit the form you can take a picture on your Mobile Device and email it to ebranch@connexcu.org or you can mail the signed form to Connex Credit Union, PO Box 477, North Haven, CT 06473, Attention Loan Servicing Dept. If you are unable to download the form, please call 1-203-603-5700 and we will mail one to you.

  • Connex/CU Student Choice – Undergrad and Graduate Student Loans

Temporary assistance is being offered. Please contact CU Student Choice directly at 1-800-814-9910.

  • Overdraft Line of Credit

March 12, 2020 Update

Connex Credit Union takes the health and well-being of our members and staff seriously. As we keep abreast of updates surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), our thoughts are with those who have been affected by this quickly evolving situation. Just to let you now, we have increased the frequency of cleaning at our branches, check writing surfaces, and ATM and ITM machines. We are closely following the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) recommendations and best practices for keeping our facilities safe.
 
As we practice the CDC recommendation for “Social Distancing”, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of our many convenient options available to you. Those options include:
          
Online Banking 

  • If you haven’t enrolled in online access, it only takes a few minutes to do so. ENROLL NOW

 Mobile Banking App

  • Connex’s Mobile App lets you conveniently access your accounts 24/7.  With this handy tool, you can conduct a number of transactions; get account balances, transfer funds between accounts, pay bills, deposit checks, locate ATMs, and more. There is no cost to download the app, and it’s available for iPhone and Android.
